Furnistry Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines the rules and restrictions for using Furnistry ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our platform, you agree to comply with this Policy.

Furnistry is committed to maintaining a safe, lawful, and trustworthy platform for all users.

1. Permitted Use

Furnistry may only be used for lawful purposes related to:

• Creating home-related registries

• Receiving voluntary contributions for home construction, furnishing, or improvement

• Supporting others through legitimate contributions

2. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use Furnistry for any of the following:

a. Fraud and Misrepresentation

• Providing false, misleading, or deceptive information

• Misrepresenting your identity, needs, or intentions

• Creating fake registries or scams

b. Misuse of Funds

• Using funds for purposes unrelated to your registry listings

• Diverting funds for illegal or undisclosed purposes

c. Illegal Activities

• Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws

• Money laundering or financial fraud

• Funding or supporting criminal activity

d. Restricted or Prohibited Content

You may not use Furnistry to promote, fund, or support:

• Weapons, firearms, or ammunition

• Illegal drugs or controlled substances

• Adult or sexual services

• Gambling or betting services

• Hate speech, violence, or harassment

• Terrorist organizations or activities

e. Financial Abuse and Platform Manipulation

• Attempting to bypass platform fees

• Artificially inflating contributions

• Using bots, scripts, or automation to manipulate activity

• Interfering with platform security

f. Payment and Transaction Violations

• Using stolen payment methods

• Engaging in chargeback abuse

• Attempting to process payments outside of Furnistry to avoid fees

3. Stripe and Payment Compliance

Furnistry uses Stripe Connect to process payments. By using Furnistry, you also agree to comply with:

• Stripe’s Acceptable Use Policy

• Stripe’s Terms of Service

Certain activities may result in:

• Payment holds

• Account suspension

• Permanent bans

• Reporting to financial authorities

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

Furnistry reserves the right to:

• Monitor accounts and transactions

• Review and remove content

• Suspend or terminate accounts

• Withhold or delay payouts if suspicious activity is detected

We may take action without prior notice if necessary to protect the platform.

If you believe a user is violating this Policy, please report it to:
